Not loving Marlee(that's my bands name). Ya know like the dog..hated him at first but loved him in the end. I hope that is how I feel later on. I can eat anything, No problems there. I just feel horrible. Sorry to vent just digusted at the moment. ttyl

Just wondering how everyone is doing? Not feeling so hot here. Still hurting and really sore. My surgery was 6 days ago.

Hey I was banded also on the 24th and have had severe pain at my biggest incision. I'm not sure where my port is yet, my stomach is still so swollen. Up unitl today I was hating my band but today was the turning point for me. Just started feeling better. As far as my post surgery diet. I'm on pureed for 2 weeks then dvance to softs. I can pretty much eat anything if I chew it up to mush. Havent had much of an appetite though. I'm drinking the protein whey shots and eating sum tuna daily for my protein requirements. The only time I'm really comfortable is when I'm laying down in my bed. Best of luck to all the bandsters out there. We just got to hang in there!!!

Hey all, had my surgery yest and it went great so far...hehe! I'm so excited about this new journey in my life. Still sore and taking Percocet for the pain. I have 5 incisions and the biggest one is the one giving me trouble(duh). I am a little hungry though. Feel like i'm half full but could eat some more...does that make sense? Love to all on here!!!!

Hi all...great to hear all the success stories on here!!! I'm being banded on the 24th...please add me to the list. I tried and it didn't work. Started on my CLD tonight and tomorrow. Kinda getting the butterflies before the surgery. Just wanted to drop a line to every one!!!

Hey Ready...thanks for the response. My LSD consists of brft-protein bar snack-1/2 piece of fruit lunch-protein bar snack-1/2 piece of fruit dinner-3 oz of lean meat brocolli(1 cup) snack-1/2 piece of fruit I'm used to eating ALOT more than that in a day. Day 1 hasn't been too bad...but I just got up:blink:. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Thanks alot Jennifer. I guess I'm just getting cold feet...haha! I'll let you know how today with my diet goes. they say the first few days are the hardest. giving up my cokes and food...I'm a comfort eater so this is really hard for me. Congrats on all your success! You look great!!!

Hey! I'm looking for a lapband buddy to help me through this journey I'm about to take on...I'm starting my liver shrink diet in the am(not really excited about that:sad:).
