So my week of weightloss after the week I maintained I lost 3 and a half pounds. I think I am getting the hang of this! Lol

In the begining I would drive myself crazy weighing myself everyday. So I stopped and only weighed at my Doc appts. 8 months in I really started to get more active and I started weighing myself once everyday in the morning. I don't drive myself crazy with it anymore. I think maybe with some time you won't drive yourself bonkers anymore.

Oh how I wish I had been able to get the band in my 20's.........sigh lol

No pre op diet. Mine was a pretty simple process also.

That happened to me also. Eadreel is right, it's a problem with the codes. it was an easy fix I just called billing at my hospital and explained that I was Tricare active duty and I should have been covered 100%. They said they would check the codes and get back to me. I think it was a day later I called tjem and they had resubmitted it. It went through no problem.

They have missed on me once, but no problems came of it. Except a bruise. Lol

I bet in 10 more pounds or so you will see a huge difference! My clothes fit the same until I hit 35 pounds lost. But I was a little smaller and by that I was a size 22.

I apolofize to everyone on this thread. Except for fluff or her alias Misty. It's quite apparent from other posts she is one of those people who likes to antagonize others. And I let her get to me. Like I said before fluff and now her alias Misty will be ignored from now on.

I have had the luxury of only having heartburn at one time in my life. 6 years ago when I was prego. The only way I can describe it is really a burning feeling in my chest and sometimes it would radiate to my throat. Good luck I hope you figure out whats going on.

Don't cry please. Your right the band doesn't work for everyone, but have you talked to your doc about this? If so what did he/she say? You might have a leak you never know. Whatever the answer I wish you luck. I hope there is a simple explanation for the problem. Keep your chin up and please don't beat yourself up about this!

I have heard of people having reactions to it, but you should take to your doc.

I tell you what being 5'7 I get a lot of comments from friends that say look great! Don't lose to much more!. BUT being a little taller really throws peoples idea of your weight off. Everytime iget a comment like that I smile and say thanks, but in my mind I say if you only knew! Lol I am happy with the weight I have lost, but yeah I want to be able to wear some nice and trendy clothes! I'm happy that I don'thave to shop at Avenue or Lane bryant anymore!
