I am feeling really great, 1 week & 2 days post surgery and I am so pleased with my decision to have the surgery. My surgery took just under 2 hours and I was back in my ward and walking around that afternoon. I had pain for the first 24 hours but it was tolerable with pain relief medication. I have had very little nausea but again I have Zofran to take if I need it. Obviously I am still on liquids but I do not feel hungry at all. I am slowly getting my protein intake sorted, this is a little difficult. It is my 40th birthday today and other than the fact I cant enjoy cake with my family, I feel fantastic!
