I had been considering weight loss Surgery for years now, but of course the obstacle was the cost. So I put it on the back burner and went on trying numerous failed diet attempts. Fast forward about two years 2007 and I was about to leave my current job because they were relocating the office and it would be very far for me. I was sent on a temporary fill in to a telephonic nursing company (where I still work to date). They hired me on full time a few months after I arrived. When I went for my orientation to my amazement I found out that they paid for the surgery 100% so long as you met the requirements. I took it as a sign. I began to research as much as I could, spoke to my family about it and 2years later 2009 my the decision to go ahead with the surgery. I had my band put in on August 17 2009. I'm 3 weeks in and have lost 28lbs.
