Hello anyone out there reading this. My name is Ronnetta and I am 5 weeks into my long road to a more fabulous me! I have no idea how much weight I have lost because I have yet to weigh myself. This really isn't a huge deal to me as I know I haven't lost anything to write home about. Everyone keeps saying that they can tell I've lost weight, and I can too, but I know it hasn't been like other patients. Most people have lost at least 20-40 lbs by now and I KNOW I haven't. I can't say I am super surprised as I haven't really gotten a clear handle on the eating yet (plus I am still thinking like the fat part of my brain and eating crap when I do eat!). Trust me, I know my doctor and nutritionist would kill me and I have basically decided that I haven't gone through all of this for nothing! I have set a goal and I WILL achieve it for my fabulous trip to New York in April. I SWEAR, I will lose 20 lbs if it kills me (hopefully it doesn't )! Gym at 4 am, HERE I COME! Wish me luck!

Hair Loss, Protein, Bioten etc...
Ms. Fabulosity replied to Mickey527's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take 5000 MCGs a day of Biotin. This is way above the recommended daily dose, which is measured by a person intaking 2000 calories. Some days I take 10k MCGs just to make sure, because I have a huge fear of hair loss. My hair is my thing and I cannnnooottt lose it! Are you taking enough Vitamins? Keep in mind more are for people consuming 2000 calories a day, so you would need to at least double any dosage. Talk to you nutritionist. -
Its been 5 weeks for me and I am certain I haven't lost 19lbs! I am not sure how much I have lost because I haven't weighed myself, but I need to do the diet properly. I will be hitting it hard on Monday. I am so over being mediocre with this! Congrats to you and I am sure you will do wonderfully!
