if only

Hi my name is Eileen and I live in Northern Ireland . I have been overweight since my twenties, I am a yo yo dieter, I lost 6 1/2 stones about 10 years ago but unfortunately put it all back on again. I was slim until I started my family and put on the weight gradually ever since. I finally made a decision on 15/08/09 that I could not cope any more with my weight, I asked my family to help me with some of the costs and I took out a loan for the rest. due to a cancellation, I was able to have my surgery on 25/08/09, 10 days later, I had my name on the list with NHS and if approved they would have covered my costs but the waiting list is over 4 years long and I couldn't wait any more.
