my NUT also recommend those but I can't get in more then a sip leaves a bad after taste. I may try again after surgery as they say your taste may change.

I feel you especially when you are on a mission. I ordered my B1 off Amazon a so everyone around here didn't have what I needed.

mine say as long as it is light the yogurt is ok. I found the Premier and Pure Protein shakes at Walmart and like them both so far. I'm on liquids starting tomorrow for my surgery on Wednesday.

smart idea to freeze May have to try that one.

I had mine out 15 years ago and have the issues as well. Getting revision surgery from band to sleeve 6/18. So we shall see what happens.

I start my liquids tomorrow and man not sure how am I going to get thru 2 crazy days at work.

I actually have a note to be out of work till 7/8 but I'm in the middle of a big project (we are moving our hourly employees from our timekeeping system if Etime over to workday) and this is my baby as they say since the hourly population is what I handle. And we are currently testing to go live 7/27. Good thing is my work said if I need the time I can take it off so I will see how it goes. I will also be paid in full for the time I'm out so that is great as I'm the one that works in my family. ????

I'm only taking a week off but if needed I can work from home after that.

Hi Eric, Maybe have your partner go to a class or dr apt with you so he sees what is all going to happen. Also see if there is any support groups offered in your area. I go thru Kaiser and they have them and I find them helpful. Good luck.

I have tried a few as well the pure Protein, Premier Protein and EAS and Isopure zero carb (this one I don't like). I wanted to make sure I had a back up or two if I didn't like them after surgery. I also have a sample unjury coming on Monday just in time before my surgery Wednesday. Good luck to you all. I'm from Fremont, CA.

I'm with Kaiser so once they get the results back in get an email. Only time my at ever called is if something was off.

For me with getting the band in 2008 was we wanted another child and suffered a miscarriage in 2007. So it was a wake up call to get healthy. I lost 121 lbs after getting the band and we welcomed our second son in 2011. Now the past 3 years has been a struggle with lots of issues with my band. I have out on in the last 3 years about 80lbs which frustrates me. In the mean time my knees have gotten bad, my arthritis is basically caused my left knee to be bone on bone. I had a small tear if my MCL I the right knew a few months ago and it's taken till one to finally feel somewhat normal. I know my weight has caused the slow recovery. In May I talked to my dr again and said I'm ready so on 6/18 I'm getting the lapband removed and getting the sleeve done (as long as there is not a lot of scare tissue from the band). I'm so ready yo move on from this stage and start over new.

For everyone that has had their surgery any suggestions or tips for us to come still on getting through the liquids after surgery? Just thinking it may help us get thru the rough days.

I agree so thankful to have others going through this at the same time as me. I am also planning on taking my iPad and heating pad. Other then that not sure yet still planning. I also have done most of my shopping and have my first few weeks of stuff in hand. Can't believe its almost here.

you have a busy Friday. I haven't has to do a preop diet but since I got my date confirmed a few weeks ago I am down 6 lbs.

I wish I had my time but don't get that till 2 days before. Otherwise all apts are now done so it's just waiting.

From past surgeries and others walking helps with the gas. Hope it gets better quick for you.

Had my pre-op bloodwork and dr apt today. Now to just wait for the 18th to get here. Dr also confirmed just 2 days before surgery is all liquid diet. Hope all our sleevers so far are doing well and adjusting to their new lives.
