Hello,
I was banded in July 2009. I have been UP & DOWN in my weight loss. I am military so therefore I have seen 3 different surgeons. In August 2016 I under went cosmetic surgery (Full Tummy Tuck) My doctor has suggested that I have a revision and convert to the sleeve but I am Petrified as I had complications with my TT procedure. Has ANYONE had the sleeve after going through a Full Tummy Tuck???? PLEASE HELP WITH ADVICE...

There have been people before that had done so. They didn't have problems. If your surgeon recommends the revision, it's probably a good idea. Ultimately the bariatric procedures usually have easier recoveries than tummy tucks.

Hello Tracy,
I know how you are feeling but you are doing great! I had surgery on 7/14/2009 and have gone from 265 to 232 with a goal of 160-170 in mind. This journey is by no means easy but just think where you might be had you not decided to take this journey. I hope when you get your fill things will get better. Keep in touch .

Hello Tracy,
I am doing well but am still awaiting to complete the six month monitored diet by my doc. My next appointment is tomorrow which will make 3 completed sessions. I am praying to be approved around the 1st of June. I still have a little time left, but am already making a lot of changes on my own. Thank God I am still losing weight slowly on my own. I really think it is more inches than anything. I can really tell the difference in my clothes. I made myself a promise that I was not going to purchase any more clothes until my old ones were too big to wear. I will keep you posted on my lap band status.
How is everything going with you? Is your weight lost going the way you hope it to be? I pray everything is going well with you.

Hello Ms. Chaval. Congrats on your surgery. Hope your doing well with your post op. The hardest issue I had within the first week was the gas passing through. Very painful . Good Luck!!

Welcome Tracysscott,
I really don't have any personal input about your weight lost solution. However, I wanted to welcome you to the site. I am still awaiting my approval to be banded. I have read a lot of different experiences from other band members, and they have remarked about stepping up their game with food choices and putting the time in to work out. Another thing I have read was having your water throughout the day was another biggy. I hope you find the solution(s) you are looking for. Good luck.

Hello. Ladies. I am very thankful that I found this Social Group. I was banded July 27, 2009. starting weight was 270 current weight is 239 and my goal weight is 180. I am feeling a bit discouraged these days. The weight just is not coming off fast enough and working out is a struggle. I would love to hear from someone that may have experienced these feelings as well.
