OMG! 15 lbs. is amazing!!! So happy for you! It's amazing isn't it? My fill was uneventful...I was afraid it would hurt but it was nothing! I definitely feel the difference with the fill. I'm not as hungry between meals and am satisfied with smaller amounts. I was feeling no restriction whatsoever prior to the fill and was hungry all the time. It led to a few bad food choices, but each day is a new day, blah, blah, blah!!! I have just my before album on "Life as a before" I'm going to add a few more pics tomorrow. Take care and keep up the great work!

Hey there! So, how is your banded life going so far? I finally got my first fill yesterday and I'm back on liqquids for the next few days! I've lost 33 lbs. so far and in 4 weeks gained 4 lbs. of muscle....I'm so excited to see that the hell I'm putting my body through is paying off! My arms actually feel hard! Went to a Self Defense for Women class a few nights ago....only one other lady showed up and these two young muscle bound kids worked us to the point it hurt to breathe!!! I'm soooo sore but it hurts so good!!!

Hey Maria! So, I had my first fill yesterday and was wondering if I would feel more restriction. How are you doing since your fill? Are you losing? I was really discouraged because I had lost 8 lbs. first week post op and then nothing for the next month! Last week I cut my calories way back and was able to lose 4 more lbs. The doc gave me great news... I lost 4 lbs. according to scale but 8lbs. of fat (which means I gained 4 lbs. of muscle!) I was thrilled! I hope all is well and I guess they are right when they say to stop watching the scale!

Wow! You look fantastic! You remind me of the young, thin Kirsty Alley! Yes, I said thin....you are doing a great job!!

Hi! Saw that you were being banded soon! You must be getting really excited (and nervous!) You are gorgeous! You have a Jennifer Lopez look about you! Lucky!!!

Hey Vikki!!! I feel your pain!!! I'm getting my fill 11/5 and hear everything will change after that! Like you, I'm not restricting myself with portion control. Second helpings? Yes, please! I've been skipping bread and trying to make good choices, but sometimes I am just out of control! I haven't gained anything either (whew! My doctor has a temper and I think he would be pissed!) I've been going to a gym 4-5 times a week and I workout hard for about 30 minutes. I walk on the treadmill, and do strength training. (However, just hearing about your schedule made me more exhausted.....how do you do it?!!!) It's got to be really hard trying to find that perfect high protein, low carb, no sugar, blah, blah blah meal when you're on the go like that!!! We're going to be fine! It's always great to hear from you!

Hi! I'm doing great! I'm in my 5th week post op and there have definitely been ups and downs! Once I was on the soft foods, I cheated a bit and had to get my head back in the diet mode. I work out regularly and am back under control! I can't wait for my first fill on 11/5!!!

LOL!!! That's my goal too for the same reason! I'm thinking any lower and I'll be all sags and wrinkles....not a good look!

Anyway, if you ever have any questions, please drop me a line! I started at 250 and am down to 216. Last few weeks I haven't lost a smidgeon of weight!! Oh well, high hopes for the first fill!! Take care!

Hi Amanda! I'm so glad your recovery is going well! I'm doing really well! It is funny to think that in a few months you will look like a completely new, hotter version of yourself. I've been overweight my whole life as well. I'm excited to really participate in life. I've always been very active but now I want to do things I was too embarrassed to do before because of looking ridiculous...parasailing, zip lining, who knows...maybe bungee jumping or skydiving! I've had a few setbacks with "brain hunger" and a bit of PMS diet cheating, but I got advise from others on here. Each day is a new day to do it right!!! I make myself hit the gym when I don't feel like it and I see results (my size 16 jeans are getting loose!) I don't see a difference, but the compliments keep coming from friends and I am eating it right up (0 calories and no carbs!!!) Good for us!

Hey Lyssa! How have you been holding up? I think of gotten my head back in the game of dieting. I think working out and actually seeing how long it takes to burn off calories makes me reconsider what I put into my mouth! I'm still a little cheater, but I feel like I'm in better control of the "binges" I was having! Hope all is well!

Hey Pretty! Soooo...how was it? I'm so proud of you! I know you were nervous and now it's over and you're at the beginning of your journey!!!! I know the first few days are a bit painful, but we women can hack it! I'm really excited for you! You can look in the mirror and say, I will never, ever, be this heavy again!

You are so funny! It's only been 7 months and look how far you've come! Flabby? I don't think so! Look at your before pic and remember how you would have given anything to look like your after pic!!!! Also, how are you so tan?!!! I would give anything for pigmentation! I'm soooo pasty right now and have a long cold Buffalo winter to look forward to! Trust me, your gorgeous!

Hi! I completely understand the "just for me" attitude. Like so many of us, I take care of everybody else (emotionally, physically, etc.) until at the end of the day, I'm spent!!! A major breakthrough for me was going to the gym (my first male/female gym!) with no makeup, bedhead and looking not so great. It was the first time I didn't care what other people thought of me...at least I was there and I was there for me! It was incredibly liberating!! The recovery was speedier than I thought. It's been difficult not doing the things I think I can do! When do you start your preop diet? Are you getting excited?
