    Hello All! Newbie!

hey there Mego, im from australia, i also dont want to think about kids until im down to say 60kg, or even get a guy, cos im so self concious, especially with the muffin top and wonderful stretch marks, gotta love them. i got my lapband done 30/8 and one of the good things, despite now being on old peoples mushie food. but at least the band can be deflated when your pregnant so inadvernently you can gain weight. im 28 and wish i had the guts, literally to do it earlier! in aussie dollars mine only cost me in total $1600 i hope everything is going well, and hello to everyone else out there

    help me im new!

i live in Tasmania, Australia, and my surgeon was Mr Wilkson whos part of the obesity centre in Hobart, fantastic, i had a lot of pain, but thats only because i stubb my toe and the world is over! in aussie dollars i was out of pocket $1600, including anathesic. Health fund and medicare covered $800, so not sure in us dollars. i spoke to peoples at work and found that at 4 and 1/2 weeks i should be on mushie food, like old peoples, at least no more chest pain! i did get an infection in the big cut, but its getting better, i thank everyone, theres not much help and advice here.
  8. hey all, i just started eating 2 days ago and found that some food after swallowing it gave me the worst chest pain for about 15 mins, is this normal? also has anyone found that if they stop exercising the weight piles back on? anyone got any ideas for lunch and tea recipies? unfortunantly i havent found many recipies on the net. any advice would be great!
