Hi I am planning on having surgery, soon I hope.  I joined the group to research surgeons but have found lots of useful info.Can anyone tell me how long you need off work.  I was planning to go straight back to work.  I've been reading that some of you are getting pain from the port, are you able to work with this pain (I have an office job, so not too much lifting etc.).I've been given dates for the surgery for October but might leave it until January 2010.  Undecided at the moment.Is anyone planning to have surgery soon or who has just had surgery that could give me a bit more info.ThanksDebs
