Started my journey in March 2009 after almost 20 years of yoyo dieting. Could lose weight but could never keep it off. I started at a 37 BMI but have had throat surgery due to sleep apnea, knee surgery, gall bladder removed, have HBP and high cholesterol so I qualified. Dr. Park wanted to do gastric bypass but I just couldn't get my mind around that. Am very happy that I've moved forward with the Lapband. Made my goal weight for pre-surgery and was banded on August 24th.
