Sorry it took me so long to reply Lynn. I was in the Hospital all weekend with Heart Problems. Everything's okay, and a good thing came out it. My stress test is done for the Lapband.
You seeing yourself is exactly why I posted the pics. I knew there are others like me, and I want to be able to inspire them to get a Lapband, too. This a Life Choice not a Easy Choice. My Consult with my Surgeon is next Thursday now. I'm so excited I can't stand it. Have you had a Consult yet?

When I saw pictures of yourself, I see myself. EXACTLY! I have been yo yoing since 2003. My lightest 134 in HS. Now back up and down and weigh 316! So, hopefully thru my Dr. and United Health Care, I can get the ball rolling so I can get down the 160 I need to lose. This is the first time I have written on this. Good Luck! Lynette from Florida

Hi reading about UHC. I called and they said it was only covered if I have documentation from my doctor. I use a sleep Apnea machine, take small dose daily for bp, and a water pill daily. I am 54 on the BMI scale..and weigh 316lbs. I have been heavy for almost all my life. My lowest weight was 135. So, hopefully I will get the lapband done after the dr. writes the necessary paperwork. Does this usually help to get it done. I really want to do this!
