I am 29 years old and have been looking into lap band surgery for about 3 years. I finally did it!! I am a single mom of two amazing kids and I am very excited ti begin a new life where I have energy for them. I want to be able to get up and run around with them, I dont want them to be embarassed by how big there mom is. I am 5'6 and I got up to 305 pounds. I used to be a meth addict and after I sobered up, I used food to replace that addiction. I soon became insulin resistant and had sleep apnea. This surgery was my birthday present to myslef and now I will be entering my 30's a brand new person.
