My name is Brittany and I have had issues with my weight my entire life! I am a very athletic person I played softball for 9 years year round and still seemed to not loose any weight. My mom got lapband in 2007 and after seeing all of her success I thought about getting it my parents supported me fully my only concern was my age. I was banded at 16 being that young it is definatly hard, having to tell your friends is porbably the hardest when most of them have no clue what it is and having to explain it over and over was not fun. Now that I am banded it is definantly a love hate relationship but, nothing is better than seeing the weight come off!(: I'm not quite where I want to be but, its a hell of a lot better than where I started!
