I had my first lap band surgery done in Januar of last year.  Went back in March 08 because the surgeron thought the port was upside down.  Had the port replaced in May of this year because the saline was leaking.  I am now getting to the point where I can actually feel like the band is doing what I feel it's suppose to do.  I can eat a small amount now and get full where in the previous months I was able to eat anything I wanted. My surgeon would previously ask me if I ws able to eat a whole chicken breast and the answer "yes", but not now. I wouldn't change my doctor for anything in the world.  I think my surgeon is awesome.  I guess now I have to do my part.
