Hi silvrfoxx Sorry I thought I answered you back. My surgery went really well. It didn't take me very long to get approved I have BC/BS Federal PPO. All my doctors was in agreement with the surgery. I had to have a hernia repair that I didn't know about until after the surgery. Not that much pain. You just have to move around to get the gas moving. That lasted for about 4 days. The 5th day I felt like I had a lot of energy. My 1st fill was a little uncomfortable but it was short. Please follow my site As My World Turn

Hello "Too much RN". that is too cute! I take it you are an RN. So am I and I am very interested in having this procedure done. I started my journey on 9-1-09. Do you think it will take me one year to complete this process? How are you doing with the liquid diet; did you get hungry. Can you feel the port through your skin? I guess Ihave all kind of questions. I am so excited because I was told I would not be able to go thru the procedure becuae I have Lupus but I'm told now I can. What was your biggest fear and was it as bad as you thought. Looking forward to chatting with you. By the way, I think you look fabulous already!

its going to be a long and bumpy road ahead . but January is not faraway before you know it it will be Christmas then then the new year and then a new you good luck on your journey wish you the best of luck . p.s stay in touch and keep me posted

Congratulations! I have not even started the insurance journey yet. I just found out this week that our insurance will cover the procefure but not until January. they are working out the particulars. Wonder how much that will be? (smile) Anyway, good luck to you and hopefully I will be joining you before too long. Sharon
