Good Morning All :redface::ohmy::smile2: Went to Lapband dr and lost 11 pounds ... extremely happy since I have not exercised with the asthma problem and MIL condition petrified if I had to go to the hospital, DH is so stressed :eek: Today, MIL will be admitted into the hospital and surgery in the morning .. so Thursday I will be a wreck...not to say I am not now:sad: On a happy note I live for :tt1::tt1::tt1: Coupons:tt1::tt1::tt1: You can google for the coupon and print it out I use a service and pay a nickel for them delivered to my home My favorite site is The nations largest source of Grocery Coupons, maunfacturer Coupons and Printable Coupons. I used to shop alot but with everything going on here, I have not used all the purchased ones... IF you purchase 20 coupons and use 10 and save tens of dollars..who wins,,,me the reason I suggested the clippers site is they have the most that you can double. A coupon is used on a sale item Sales on a product run in cycles .. so you wait It is a science.. that I love yesterday...ran into my local supermarket, DH wanted fresh cold cuts...run around perimeter of store...really in a hurry...see a peel off coupon on a 4 pac of proactive ? yogart..selling at $3.89, to costly for me BUt BUT next to it is a sign that the reduced fat (same product) is half off for 1.89... so take the three peelies of the other yogart and use it for these.. the peelies are put on in the store so 1.89 less 1.00 peelie... 89 cents for a 3.89 product that I will happily use and really will make my life easier with MIL Yesterday, I did not have my repeat my coupon stash with me since .. it was a non planned shopping experience I love my coupons :tt1::tt1::tt1: It makes grocery shopping fun As for my Thanksgiving Turkey, got mine last month. The store had three FRESH turkeys and they posted a dollar off each. So I asked (which I swear have ever done) ... asked if he would mark down the turkeys and I would take all. Well, he said the label machine was not working... then he comes back and says...you would take all three... definitely...so he tells me a number and I say..no way..you know I am the coupon lady and that is not a great price...says stay here... he comes back and says would I be willing to pay this amount for the turkeys...I danced out of the store..one I placed for my MIL for the holidays and I saved 2 for me... I sometimes make them and freeze into smaller portions to defrost..................:w00t::ohmy: so how much did I get these excellent veggie fed fresh turkeys for...............................price per pound 3.99 and got it for one dollar...............................they are all 16 pound each..I usually use the 12 lb ones but fresh and the price... so coupons usage also saves you money but the store people feel you are a creditable shopper Have a great day Jollygreen:lol::tt1::lol::lol:

Thanks all for your good wishes. Last night RAN to AC Moore for more Xmas yarn and they did NOT have any could not believe it....so I am adding white and then end with the multi-colored xmas yarn. BOY, was I ticked and told the manager that it is not even Thanksgiving and that they should still have stock. A woman who worked there told me that they are not carrying large amounts of holiday items because of the economy...BS and shame to these companies...homemade gifts are number one during times like these Well, it is really a wonderful SOFT blanket and my family even thinks it is one of the nicest...so happy When all calms down or I find the link ... I will be writing to ACMoore and tell them off..not nice at all ... luckily I had won the contest. Anyway, my MIL is waiting to be admitted to the hospital and knows that she might not return...told a family friend who told my SIL .... so last night I was a mess. When she goes into the hospital I have from a garage sale a wheelchair and my SIL wants me to go in to take her because my DH does not want to put his mom in one. It is a blessing for the family because MIL does listen to me, since I am not her daughter but she feels close. SO, Monday I take her for blood and pray that the results will allow her to be admitted in the city on Wednesday. On another note... I am trying a work at home job selling to large corps across the country... so this week and next i will be training and hopeful one day I will see $$$$ But thank god all is well and I am doing alot of deep breething THanks all for your kind wishes BTW... my training is with others via the internet crazy how the world has changed MY husbands family has 3 people with swine flu and friends have been leaving voicmails..since I have been out so much...BECAUSE I left VM at the DR in the county who was giving the shots....one friend had her WHOLE family go and her Sister lives in NJ....so please everyone...TAKE THE SWINE FLU SHOT BYE larua

I lost my glasses....somewhere in the house....i went thru the garbage......ugh anyway.....I hope all of you are ok my MIL is home from the hospital and will be gping in next eek.....but we are there all the time I am so scarde they can not make a discission ...she is close to 90 si I do not go nuts...I am making a Christmas Blanket to give away witht he materials that i have won from another crochet group. I will going o out tongight and get more materials to make it extra big....it is so beautiful I am so happy ...it is calmong me and I know that someone will have a great christmas with my big blanket.....the blnaket is the christmas soft yarn wih different christmas colors I will be giving to a group Saturdqay night and if it is not big enough....i will give it to the nuns at the hospital...they will know who will need it..and my DS and DH said it is really gorgeous...so I am relly happy that someone will have a happy smile...want it given to someone to enjoy after AThanksgiveing....and enjoy till Christmas I am making someof the idshes for Thanksgiviengin ans the TURKEY all is well...

Gotta be quick I saw all your posts I will be on and off for the next couple of days MIL going in the hospital on Monday and had DH stay with her at night :crying: I think that I might have insulted my MIL not intentionally.. I swear BUT my husbands cousin who makes me look like Slim Jim has swine flu as does his son. Well , the kid is recouperating but he sounds like sh?? and they have been out of comission all week. SO I told my MIL that we should pray for him, since he is so overweight and is a heavy smoker. Also, since I had taken my shots, I was willing to go to their home and help. I KNOW that it angered her:angry: Well, lets all be well and we have a load of leaves in the backyard...so I went with DH, and :wink2::sneaky: rented a large leaf blower the kind you move and it looks like the boys are almost done..I have alot of trees in my back yard and if I told you what they quoted us...you would all come over to do it your selves..last year we had way over 50 ..yes FIFTY bags.... One of my friends just sent me this and I think an easy recipe is worth a post Enjoy Laura from NY Teriyaki Salmon Fish 1 small-medium peace of salmon 2 Tbsp wine 2 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp Soy sauce 2 Crushed Garlic Marinate For 1 Hr. Bake For 10 Min @350 with out the sauce, pour the sauce in and leave for 10 more minutes

I TAKE PRILOSAC TWICE A DAY, that is what our doctor makes us do..........but my regular dr makes me take it also,.,,,,in my case I think it is my age

Otherwise I would wait for DH to come home. Most of the time my showers where at night when all was zzzzzzz. I did post on the boards that I had found a baby in the street ...so I know how horrible it is .... please EVERYONE...IT IS BETTER TO SMELL THEN TO LOSE THE PRECIOUS BABY. Everyone- I called the allergist and he had the swine flu shot ...thank god my son was home and the whole crew got our shots. For those who are iffy...it is made the same as the flu shot ...so if you are not allergic to eggs then it is not for you. I had to take it but i made my DH and DS take it, MY DSILs are really against it and have yelled at me for planning to have DH take it....if god forbid you get the swine flu and it is a overrun at the hospital..WCBS news in NY said...the hospitals would run out of OXYGEN....so F them ...my DS and DH took the shot....shocker..since I do not even take aspirins...but took the drugs after the LB surgery and my DS laughed his butt off...I was so high...after that I wonder if he would ever take drugs...momma was high...he said he loved talking to me...he still laughs when he remembers :wub::wub: I think this doctors scale was off becasue I clocked in at 283...wish :wub::wub::wub: :eek::eek: I :sad: my cranberry sauce...so I make my own...cranberries, strawberries, Water and boil till they berries burst and I like mine soft ...when ready take off the stove and put in a glass bowl..cools it some and then add the stevia..mix and put in frig.. it can be lose.. the pectin from the cranberries will firm up the sauce in the frig...yummo :eek::tt1::tt1: :ohmy: Vote is tomorrow:thumbup::thumbup:

For the wendys chili....i omit the jalepeno but it is gooooooooooddddddddddddddddddddddddddd also.....i use ground turkey and DH can not tell the difference

Wendy’s Chili 2 pounds ground beef One 29-ounce can tomato sauce One 29-ounce can kidney beans (with liquid) One 29-ounce can pinto beans (with liquid) 1 cup diced onion (1 medium onion) 1/2 cup diced green chili (2 chilies) 1/4 cup diced celery (1 stalk) 3 medium tomatoes, chopped 2 teaspoons cumin powder 3 tablespoons chili powder 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups water 1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain off the fat. 2. Using a fork, crumble the cooked beef into pea-size pieces. 3. In a large pot, combine the beef plus all the remaining ingredients, and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2 to 3 hours. Makes about 12 servings. Extra’s For spicier chili, add 1/2 teaspoon more black pepper. For much spicier chili, add 1 teaspoon black pepper and a tablespoon cayenne pepper. Just jumped on and thanks for all the good wishes for my MIL. As for the Christmas yarn, I decided to keep it. It is less than two months to Christmas and will make scarves and toys..will check my websites and leave it for the nuns at the local hospital. When crocheting my sweater/coat, I remembered how the girls write on the crochet site how folks do not even receive visitors. So, since it would be quick projects, I will find nice gifts and wrap...and leave it with the sisters at our local hospital. I know that they will know who to give it to. As for my weight, I am convinced that the lapband was filled to much..I guess when I see my doctor before Thanksgiving, I will have to have some fluid removed :thumbup: Anyway, all is well and thank god we are here for MIL, wish my SILs would help. I will be on and off the boards MY MIL is in the hospital and it is scary My yarn came in .... from the crochet club and it is three skeins of Christmas yarn I will pass it on to another group... I need to finish my coat...which will take me around a week (I think) I do make Xmas gifts for my friends if they ask me but my holiday colors are Blue :seeya::ohmy: I will post on the crochet page my thanks and pass it on to someone who needs it now I have made a gorgeous tree top for a friend who asked me years ago...
