I had my surgery on Sept. 14th and my 1st fill was today...he put 2cc in my 10 cc band..I feel restriction now and see the Dr again in 2 weeks..I have lost 14 pounds with the help of the band so far...I have no regrets and I am happy that I had the surgery!

I am doing well thanks...had my post op appt yesterday and I am down 10 lbs in 9 days with the band...I am hungry but I think it is just mental hunger..Cooking for my family is torture..I hope I can work through that...I have a fill appt in 2 weeks(if they think I need it)..How are you?

I had my surgery a week ago today....I feel good but I am feeling a little hungry(I think)...Congrats to you!!! I am down 23lbs...15lbs lost during 2 week preop diet and 8lbs this first week! I am so happy that I did this for myself!:biggrin: -

Congrats..that is great!!! I will be banded tomorrow and I can not wait for my transformation to begin...I have lost 15 so far during my 2 week pre op diet...Good luck !!! -
Congrats.....I am so excited for you and I feel the same way you do about being a success story...I will be banded on the 14th..wow..less than a week away...keep us posted on your success!

Hello everyone..my surgery is a week away on Sept. 14th and I am nervous and excited....I am down 12 lbs. on my pre-op diet of 5 shakes and water, jello and broth..yum! I have Aetna and I was approved after providing 2 years weight history( recorded weight from dr. charts for 2 years) and jumping through all the surgeons hoops..I went to a seminar in Dec 2008 had my 1st appiontment with the dr. in April... had a endoscope( checked my stomach) and saw a dr. for my sport/psych eval...had to show a 3 month diet history ... went to weight watchers and to my regular dr. for 3 monthly weight checks ...my approval letter came last week and my surgery is Sept. 14 th..hope this helped you!

Hi I am new too....surgery is on Sept. 14th...started 2 wek pre op liquid diet yesterday...scale says I am down 6.5 lbs since yesterday...I hope that is true..would like a nice jump start..good luck..message me if you want to stay in touch
