I was banded on October 13th and have lost 31 lbs since. I lost 34 lbs pre surgery so I have lost 65 lbs total. I had my 1st fill yesterday, they put 3.6cc fill in an 11 cc REALIZE band. I am very happy with my progress, but would love to feel more restriction. I am on liquids for 2 days because of my fill yesterday so I really won't know what level of restriction I have for a few days. My fill was done with X-ray fluoroscope. You could really see the difference in restriction before he put the 3.6cc in and after. So I really believe that I will have good restriction once I start eating.

Yes, I am also suffering from hunger. I had my surgery Oct. 13th and my doctor put me on 21 days of liquids. But, everytime I feel like cheating I have to remember all the reasons I had the surgery in the first place. I have 3 little girls and I want to enjoy them for many years to come. I have a awesome wife who is in great shape and I want to live a long healthy and happy life with her. So, it really makes my choice easy not to cheat once I remember all those things. I figure a little suffering now in exchange for a lifetime of happiness! Good luck everyone.

I am 6 days post-op today and feeling great. Have lost 8 lbs. since surgery and 39 overall. My doc has me on a 21 day post op liquid diet. The first 4 days were really tough, but it has gotten a lot easier the last 2 days and because I am too nervous to screw my band up, I won't cheat. Good Luck to all you guys getting banded in the next few days. Hang tough with the pre-op diet and good luck again.

Had my surgery Oct. 13th and everything went great. No catheter. Feel almost back to normal today. My doc put me on 21 day liquids post surgery. Getting really old all this pre and post op liquid diet stuff (lol). But, I will survive. Good luck to all October bandsters!

Absolutely. I would be more than happy to answer any questions. I wish it was that time already. I have been doing the Protein shakes in the morning and having a light lunch and dinner. I have lost almost 20lbs. in the last four weeks. I am starving, lol, but the excitement of the surgery coming keeps me on track (most of the time). Good luck. Talk to you soon.

Are any of you guys doing any pre-op dieting? Mine has got me doing induction phase of adkins. When I get within a few weeks it might change. I need to check in with my doctor at that time. Well, good luck everyone. Look forward to watching everyones progress.
