Weight Watchers Online: Support Thread
Soexcited replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Amy, Every day when I dont do as well asI want I just say to my self "KEEP TRYING" If I just keep trying eventually I will do well. Dont eat your self up. Just focus on doing better tomorrow. For me it is this time of night (7pm to bed time) where my binge fear sets in. I want to munch till I close my eyes. Tonight I am still under my 31 points so I will hold out for my jell desert at about 8 and QUICKLY brush my teeth! -

Normally they are breakfast because it's quick and easy. They are also awesome in a coffee in the morning. -

Ya you should always try to weigh first thing in the morning before food or water. It will give you a better baseline. I am sure all that working out and water just made you retain! -

My night time snack is fat free sugar free Jello pudding. It was one of the things I was allowed to eat on the pre op diet (like 1 cup) and have used it as my go to desert with the band. I am back to the gym now also. I go to spin class 4 days a week (it's an hour) and then do my elliptical at home the 5th day. I take Sunday off. I just joined ww last Sat so my first weigh in will be in 3 days and I soooooooo hope I am down! Wont weigh at home it will just piss me off I am sure. Today so far I have had 2 Protein shakes 8 points total gone to the gym and got 6 activity points and just ate a greek yogurt 4 points. I do think I might have gotten more than 6 activity points today because I worked my ASS off hard in spin this morning, but will keep it at 6 to play it safe. -

So glad I just found this thread! I joined WW on Saturday so today is day 3 for me on WW. I was banded 2 years ago and lost 50 pounds. Then I just stopped. So now I have joined the gym and joined WW I am doing a spin class at the gym M/T/W/F and the elliptical at home one day during the weekend. So I work out now 5 days out of 7 and feeling fine Just confused about the dam point thing. They say I should eat 32 points a day and to me that sounds like soooooooo much. One of my friends told me I was not loosing because I was not eating enough, could that be true? Also wondering if we could start a "WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY ON WW" thread.....what do you think? then we could all see what everyone else is eating and how many points everything has. Still cant wrap my head around fruit being 0 points! -

Having Problems. Suggestions, Anyone
Soexcited replied to yellow1011's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I hicup all the time, almost after everything I eat. For me it's my sign that my band is perfect, I love my hicups it reminds me my band is working. I have been banded for 2 years as well. Unlike you I still have to loose weight to be ideal but I feel much better than I did pre band. I never feel full....ever! It sucks and thats why I munch and nibble to much. If I took a bit out of my band maybe I could fill up more however I think I would eat too much so am willing to live with the hunger. You have to decide for you but my choice was to just drink a shake and deal. -
Help! First Day Of 2 Week Liquid Diet
Soexcited replied to jamesmom's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh ya the first few days of the pre op diet is just hell. It was 2 years ago for me and I still remember it well, the bad news is that it will just suck for a while. I was dizzy and sick for 2 weeks solid what I did do at night was eat a cracker or something and even though I was not supposed to it was just fine and got rid of the sick feeling before bed. Fat free sugar free jello pudding was my saving grace can you have that? -
Can I go on Amusement rides after Lap Band Surgery ?
Soexcited replied to MOON_CHILD7275's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
No you wont be able to go on rides right after surgery. It hurts, its surgery! -
I think getting together would be AWESOME! Only problem will be picking a day and time that will work with most of us. I can not do evenings at all but could do a morning coffee around 10am someplace....anyone free about that time?

I eat Chobani Greek and love it! Have you tried that one?

My husband got his band a year and a half ago (so did I) however he has reciently been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. Just wondering if there are any banded in the same situation? If so, how are you doing and how are you getting your nutrition in? I'd love to find a friend to help me out since I am the one who cooks and buys groceries in the house.

Pre Op Diet Woes
Soexcited replied to legnarevocrednu's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi! Well I am sorry to tell you that the pre op diet just sucks. It was 2 years ago for me and I still remember how sick I felt. all day and all night! I was on the pre op diet for 3 weeks, after my first 7 days it did get better but I will tell you that looking back on it now 2 years later it was worth every dizzy spell and trow up. Dont cheet, and keep strong it's just the beginning of your journey.
