SO -- Long story short, I have always been overweight. Actually, usually VERY overweight. I don't know about everyone else, but I dont like the other "o" word. It just seems like a deragatory word to me - even though I know its not meant to be. Anyways, I am 23, and have been a CNA and Phlebotomist for about 5 years. For the majority of my years working as a CNA, my weight has not been (obese) but slightly overweight. Then all of a sudden I have put on the fourty pounds I managed to keep off for a couple years. I have tried to exercise, eat less, do everything that I use to do recently to keep my weight down, but its not working for some reason! I am going to see the Doctor next week about getting lapband. I have never been at a healthy weight in my LIFE, and I am so tired of struggling without help. I am tired of the pain I have in my hips and my knees. I am tired of not being able to walk when I get off of a 12 hr shift at work. I am 23 years old! I should be at the peak of health. Not struggling to have energy to do normal activities.
