I have been fighting the Battle of the Bulge for almost 14 years. I have tried almost everything. Weight Watchers, Herbalife, Nutrisystem and Phentermine. Hiring personal trainers and working out six times a week. I've even used less healthy methods out of desperation, to include laxatives and fasting, which only made me sick. None of this worked, as I was separated from the Air Force for failure to meet weight standards. Since my release from the military, I have gained 75 pounds in seven years. I am in constant pain. I frequently miss work due to severe back pain and appointments with my chiropractor, physical therapist, or some other medical provider. I also have sleep apnea and have a high risk of getting Type II diabetes since it runs on my father's side of the family. I want to regain control of my life and I think that the Lap Band will help me do that.
