Hey fellow quilter, quilting kept me sane during the surgical pain. I was out of work for 4 weeks because of some lifting i do at work. I completed 2 quilt tops and designed 2 quilt top for my guild. Just finished the quilting on my long arm machine. You can see some of my work at Allatoona Quilters' Guild | . I'm web mistress of the guild web site and Block of the month chair. I have not thought about doing a block for every pound.
I'm struggling daily with my weight. I have lost about 24 lbs. whick averages to 2 pounds a week since the surgery but my weight loss is slowing down. I push to exercise everyday. I walk 2 miles every morning except sundays. Keep in touch, Tina

Hi Quilttina I did a search on the lapband site for soemone who might have some of the same interests as me.
Well I found you.
First of all my birthday is October 5th 1967 will be turning 42.
I hand my lapband done on september 3rd 2009
And I am a QUILTER.
I hope things are going good for you. It is so so for me right now cant wait for surgery pain to be over and thenI can move on.
I think I decided to make a quilt block for every pound loss. Not sure what yet. But will see.
Hope to hear from you
