hahahah flat belly! I think it is my choice in clothing! lol! Yes I did spend alot of time at the gym... but I still have this one area that just doesnt want to leave- I totally see it in the picture, but maybe it is bc I know it is there.... Personally, this is what I am working on now is to try and get that gone-- when I find the secret potion I will pass it on!

Extra skin- yes i have some- but have noticed with time it is getting better although I dont think it will all go away on its own. As for tips, I logged all my daily foods in calorie counter website... and I watched for trends on what made me lose and what made me stall out. I didnt eat any type of bread, pasta, chips, potatoes... I was at restriction and I knew that anything I ate needed to be protein becuase my body needed it. Every once in a while I would have a treat but honestly didnt want them that much. I stayed away from slidder foods... and sweets.... If I had a sweet tooth I would eat a weight watchers ice cream bar-- I devoted alot of time to realizing what was head hunger and what was my body actually hungry. I came out of surgery with a positive outlook that this was the beginning of my new life and that failure was not an option..... I paid too much to fail... and went to the extreme of surgery. I know it was ALOT of hard work and sacrifices while getting the weight off however, looking back it seems like it was the easiest thing I have ever done. So weird for me now.

Hello Gorda,
I hit goal at 9 months and 1 week from surgery. Following that I got a slight unfill bc due to stress from my wedding that was coming up I was way too tight. On the honeymoon I did gain about 4.6 lbs - but in the week that I have been back I have lost all but 1.8 lbs. So I was freaked out about maintenance but I dont think it will be a problem- I just have to make sure to still eat healthy- and limit any desserts and unhealthy snacks to a minimum.

I couldnt agree more with you! I think that it is the attitude I went into sugery with and kept with that has made a huge impact on my success! This is why I have lost so much so fast! You are doing great and keep up the good work AND great attitude!

TCarroll replied to marfar7's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
not to laugh at your expense.. but bet you dont crave those pancakes anymore!!!!!!!!! My uncle who has had lap band done about 2 years ago.. told me -- if you ever have a craving that you can't get rid of-- go eat whatever that craving is... once you get sick on it.. that craving is gone! -
