question about liquid diet after first fill (realize band)
lisafire posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
hi i am 7 weeks post op and had my first fill yesterday. The PA said i had to go on a liquid diet for 2 weeks before the doc came in to do the fill. I asked why and he said i might have some swelling due to the fill. Ive read on here that alot of people only do a 1-2 day liquid diet. Would it be bad if I only did a 2 day liquid diet? -

My surgery was on July 31. I was given a paper to go by... The first 2 phases are 2 weeks and just started phase 3 (soft foods) last Fri Aug 14... Whenever i ask my doc he just says what i can tolerate. I am tolerating everything good and am hungry alot. I was hoping moving on to solid foods would satisy me more? -

WOW thanks so much for all the replies! I am feeling better about the whole thing now. I think my issue might be what I am eating. I only eat half cup every 2-3 hours... I am just eating pureed soups, cottage cheese, and yogurt. I guess i am just confused of what I can eat at this point. (3 weeks post op)
