I am 37 y/o female and have struggled all my life with my weight. When I heard of the lap band I requested it through my insurance. I was approved and made my 1st appointment w/ Dr Khaili June 3rd. Since June 3rd I have went to numerous appoinments at Cedar Sinai, some seminars and other one on one with professional social workers, nutritionist and my PCP. I am in the final stages of actaually having the lap band surgery. I look forward to this tool and have a more positive out look on life and my health.
