Thanks for the welcome ladies. Maybe I worded my previous post wrong. I'm only eating mushies, but I think I can eat alot of them. As far as my surgeon post op directions, they want you to do 2 weeks of liquids, then 2 weeks of mushies, then the next 2 weeks you are transitioning to regular food, just small bites and chew very well. I thought I should only be able to eat 1/4-1/2 cup of food and I'm sure I'm eating at least 1 cup. I don't drink with my meals and I eat slowly even though there isn't alot of chewing going on. I'm sure I"m just being impatient. I just recovered so quickly from the surgery (had it 4/16 and mowed the lawn 4/19) I guess I'm rushing things a bit. Thanks for the posts.

Hi ladies, now that I'm finally banded, maybe I'll post more and not just lurk:spy. Do any of you know how NWWLS is on there first fills. I'm only 2 weeks out and I'm amazed and how much I can eat. I've gained 2 lbs of the 9 I had lost. Looking forward to chating with you.
  3. Hi all, I've been lurking for quite sometime now and thought I would finally say hello. I'm currently over halfway through my 6mo supervised diet and planning on using the NWWLS for my surgery. I'm sure I will have many questions for all you band graduates.........until next time. DRUTH
  4. Koko, I was at that same seminar. My pcp actually recommends them. Unfortuneatly my insurance requires a 6mo Dr. directed weight loss program prior to being considered for the surgery. Good luck on your journey and would love to here of your experience. Thanks, Dona
