  1. Hello. i do make the meatballs from scratch. it's very easy. i take a pound of chopmeat add meatball seasoning mix (in the gravy section of store) make golf ball size meatballs.. i use Via Roma tomatoe basil sauce (in the jar) it's amazing if you can find it otherwise use whatever sauce you like. Make sure meatballs are well covered. you can either fry meatballs or just throw them in raw.. they both taste delicious. make sure you cook for atleast 7 hrs or so (i cook on high for first 5 hrs, then lower it for last few hrs...or you can cook on low for about 8 hrs)... i do suggest cooking the outside before putting in crockpot... soooooo good it melts in your mouth
