My hubby & I have just had LBS one week apart. Our initial reason was because we had to travel to have the surgery, and we have decided not to tell many people - especially immediate family. So doing it this way meant we could go one at a time and the other could stay home with the kids and no outside babysitting help was required. We haven't told our kids 10 & 6 either. When it was time for us to travel, we just told our kids we had work/business stuff to tend to in the city. This isn't unusual so they didn't question it. Now that we have had the surgery - I am 3 days post op, I am so glad we did it with some time in between! I never expected to be this sore! I am just starting to get around without too much trouble on day 3. I flew home the day after surgery and that was tuff - just having to walk around and get myself where I had to be - OUCH! But my hubby says he wasn't as sore as me - maybe I'm just a wuss! He says he felt like he'd been kicked in the guts and I said I flet like I'd been run over by a truck!! So, I think it's great to be able to do it with your spouse for the support and encouragement, but for physical reasons, especially with kids, I do not recommend it on the same day! The hard part will be flippin the coin to see who goes first! :thumbdown: Cheers, DDiva.

Hi All, I live in Australia and here what you call soda's or pop is referred to as "Soft Drink or Cool Drink". That covers basically anything that is carbonated. Then we have "Cordial" which is the flavoured mix that you dilute with Water and is still not fizzy. Just thought I'd share! DDiva I get banded next Monday...
