hello i just thought id say that my husband has been very supportive to me right from the moment when i made the decision to have the surgery, i was most suprised when chatting to other ladies about the lap band, as alot say that their husbands either try to put them off, or when they have lost their weight the male becomes jellous and possesive ! This has made a difference to my life now, not just in how i look but mentally as well i could not have done this with out the support i recieved.:kiss2: thankyou 2 my husband family and freinds !!!! :kiss2: :clap2:

hi doing it 4 me i understand what you are saying.ive been very lucky and had the support ive needed, but some men are like this because they are insecure & jellous. alot of men are happy to keep there wives on the bigger side because it makes them feel content and secure, makes them feel safe they think other men wont look. then when you start 2 get attention from other males they think that you are going 2 run away with them. my husband just laughs when that happens because im with him not them. yes they look but cant touch lol. MEN WILL BE MEN LOL:eek:

you could allow us to put higher pixel photos on this site. it wont allow my 2 add my pics as the pixels on my camera are too high.

of course i would do it again. its gave me my life back. very happy with the results !!!!!

hello my name is liz i have had my band 18 months now and yes i am so adicted 2 my scales. i get weighed every morning just so i know if i havent put on weight. its become s real obsession and i just couldnt throw away my scales,they keep me on track and its helped me get to my target weight.

Hello, just found this site and it is really interesting to read about other peoples experiences on here. I live in the uk and had my Lap Band fitted 18 months ago and it was the best decision i have ever made in my life.My starting weight was 268 pounds, and i now weigh 175 pounds I have lost 93 pound and i have exceeded there target. I have a lot of loose skin remaing and i now need a tummy tuck 2 remove that.:Banane10:

I told my family and a few freinds at first ! now everyone knows, alot are supportive but some think its a easyway out of dieting but its not like that, having a lap band was a very big decision for me but was the right decision for me as i am at target now.
