IT IS THE SAME IN ENGLAND, ADS 4 MACDONALDS BURGER KING AND SO ON. USUALLY TARGETED TOWARDS OUR CHILDREN. CHILD HOOD OBESITY IS ON THE UP IN ENGLAND AND THESE FAST FOOD ADS ARE NOT ENCOURAGING OUR CHILDREN TO BE HEALTHY. THIS IS SOO BAD, ITS REDICULOUS !!!!!!

I agree with your comment about being tight is the only way to lose, as there is no point if you can still eat the kinds of foods we ate pre op. I can eat any sloppy foods with sauces or gravey that is enough for me, but im tight enough to keep me off bread stuff like pizza and take aways so im happy. It all depends on how much restriction each individual will be happy with and how far you want to go. -
BMI around 40 and excess skin?

My excess skin bothers me i have loose skin on my tummy, boobs & arms, i am meetimg a plastic surgeonon 25th sept about initially having a tummy tuck done. Im excited & a little nervous about this. All should go well hope fully. -

MY NEW FOUND PLEASURE NOW IS CLOTHES SHOPPING, ITS GREAT FUN TO BE ABLE TO WALK IN AND JUST PICK UP SOME THING NICE AND IT FITS, MONEY SPENT ON FAST FOOD IS BETTER SAVED UP TO BUY A BRAND NEW OUT FIT ! THE OUT FIT FEELS BETTER THAN THE JUNK FOOD EVER TASTED, AND YOU GET TO KEEP THE OUT FIT. THATS WHAT I DO !!!!!!!! -
STEAK IS A NO NO FOR ME AS IT WONT GO THROUGH MY BAND. I CAN DRINK AS MUCH FLUID AS I WANT ASLONG AS IT ISNT DURING EATING OR AFTER HAVING A MEAL.

The Band VS Gastric Bypass...What made your decision??

The band is alot safer procedure, golf balling and pbing are just some of the side effects from the lap band but are not life threatning, the bypass is alot more complicated with long term effects if it goes wrong. at least the band is reversable a bypass is NOT. The band is the safest option to choose and thats why i chose it. -

Why not prepare a healthy lunch and take that to work with you, its going to be home made better for you and substantially less calories. Do you live far from work maybe you could try walkng there, walking is a very good form of exercise. Dont give up you will start to lose again. good luck xx -

Congratulations sharyn its a great feeling isnt it ! Dont spend to much cash though as i done that and the clothes went too big with in a few weeks, and i had to go out shopping again not that i minded that i love shopping now, Well done !!!!
