I have been overweight all of my life. I have pondered over wls for the past 3 years and finally decided on lap band this year, May 2009. I initially started the process with True Results but had to change programs due to insurance issues. I am now going through the Surgical Weight Loss Center at Dekalb Medical with Dr. Scott Steinberg. I am so excited about the opportunity to begin life again and oh so anxious to get this done. I hope to converse with many of you who have already made the big change and become a bandster and I also hope to one day inspire someone as many people that have already been banded and told their stories, have inspired me.
