Brittu: I just read your wonderful post :001_smile: i start my liquid fast in two days and surgery is in 8 days........but whose counting?? Can you please tell me wha to expect the first three days?? And after.......i'm scared :blushing: i'm getting my gall bladder removed and hernia repaired at the same time....do you know any stories about this??? Thanks so much!! Trying to breathe...........and relax ugh!! -

my name is theresa and i read your reply to "scared" and it meant so much to me. I start my liquid diet on this friday. Surgery next friday. Gall bladder removed, hiatel hernia repaired and sleeved. What was the most uncomfortable thing you experienced? And for how long? I would rather be prepared! Thanks so very much :0 i'm scared too!! How did you react to the anesthesia? Ugh! -

in tweleve days i'm getting sleeved also very scared...........i don't know how to get on these threads??? sooooo, i'm going to hit the "post quick reply" button and then do i check every day?? did anyone have the pain pump for three days? did it work? is there lots of nausea? gas pains? thanks, theresa -

i am going to meet dr wade barker in dallas in a few weeks for the consultion.....does anyone know him? How are the frist few days.........lots of pain .......and what helped anyone reading recover ??? I have had some bad experiences with anesthesia in the past with extreme anxiety..........anyone have this???? -

HELP i am researching the lap band, i'm 60 yrs and am so scared i've heard so many bad things....like when laying down some of the fluids in the stomach pouch come up and that nausea is a HUGE thing!!! i'm so concerned about vitamins i take many and feel so healthy other than my weight! i WANT THIS DONE SO BADLY BUT SO CONCERNED. also how long can this stay in your body without corroding and i've watched videos showing and doctors saying that the port is very difficult to cut out? any input will be greatly appreciated. this is my first on messaging so i don't even know how i will receive any info?? should i give my e-mail?? how will i know where to find you? -
