In 1987 I weighed 220 pounds I was just out of the Air Force and in good health.  I have gained about 10 pounds a year ever since.  Eventually I weighed over 400 pounds and was starting to have health problems.  I tried every diet known to humankind, they all worked, until I stopped them and then I gained all the weight back plus!.  I even tried the HCG shots and the 500 calorie diet.  That also worked until I stopped it and started to eat "normally" again.  The Lap band is helping me now eat less, and lose weight I hope I will never see again.  So far so good!
