    Coping with total unfill??

I really liked these posts. I have not had a fill yet, banded July 17th and will get my first fill on September 16th. I like the lack of restriction, But I am losing a ton of weight and I wondered If I ever had to have a fill. My Nurse said 'why did you get a band if you will not fill it?" I said if it is working why fill it at all? - no answer. Still I will talk with the Doc on fill day to see what he thinks. Good food choices are key!

    Pills

My problem was that some of my meds were slow release. When I crushed them up my BP dropped to the pass-out level. I now take those pills whole. no problems so far. But I do hope to be off of them soon. I was able to delete one from my daily intake (with docs approval) already.
  6. I was in the same boat, then I figured my scale was not accurate at the high end of the scale. I went to the Doc and his scale showed me 10 pounds lighter than I thought I was. Keep doing what you are doing, you will succeed. at 1200 calories or less you have to lose weight eventually. Just watch the fats and sugars.
