Hi everyone, I am on youtube and I update every week and I forget to update this one because it is so hard to find things on the page. I am still trying to figure out how to update my weight on here. Well, I down to 225.6 from 244. So that is 18.4 at 5 weeks. On my 6 weeks check which willbe this Wednesday, I will get my first fill. Let the real weight loss begin. I loss a total of 24.25 inches all over my body as well so not bad. I can get back into so of my 14 but very tightly. lol. If you want to follow me on youtube, search imstillstrill

Hi Everyone, I met with the nurse today, to kind of get an update on my status. I am down 8 lbs which is a total of 13 since a couple of weeks before the surgery. My doctor was awesome. Dr krahn, I found out that he fixed a hernia that I did know I had. My incisions are so small, less than a 1/2 inch that I can barely see them. I can see the one for the port which is about an inch long. Still healing, no excercise for 4 weeks, but I can walk. Liquid diet for another week then soft food for two weeks.

Well it is not bad. I came home from the hospital yesterday. I had stayed over night. Highly recommend. Staying in the hospital lets you get the medication and antibotics you need through IV, very convenient. Well since I have been home, I have not needed to take any medication for pain, but everyone is different. My stomach still feels sore, but I get around better. I have too to chase after this 2 1/2 year old. lol So Today I had about a 1/2 a bottle of Isopure. Which is 40 grams of protein if I drink the whole thing (20oz) and I have a 16 oz bottle of water mixed with crystal light. Not hungry. But the doctor told me the first month is not focus on weight loss even though you will lose weight because just taking in liquids but it is to focus on healing the stomach from surgery.

Thanks for your story. I weight about the same. Hopefully I can lose quickly too. I think it is important to work out. I plan to have my husband be my personal trainer after my surgery as well. 2 days left!! woo hoo!!

I am suppose to drink clear liquids for the next 2 days before my surgery on Wednesday. People ask me how do I feel. I don't know what to feel. I am just here taking one day at a time. Praying for the Lord to Bless me. I ate at ihop as my last real food for the next 2 weeks when I am on liquids only. I don't even think I like food any more.:sad:
