Hello,My name is Kristy and I'm 29 years and I have struggled with my weight pretty much since I became a women. :) I have tried every diet possible...from nutritionist to weight lose programs. Nothing seemed to work for me. I'm a very active person, I've played sports all my life, but just couldn't get the weight off. Having added pressure from my parents and coaches to lose weight has affected me more then ever. I can still hear my coach calling me fat and slow. I guess I have rebelled all these years since high school and I gave up on myself. I lost 40 lbs 2 years ago on one program, but I ended up giving myself an eating disorder...I was afraid of food (If you could imagine.) So I stopped that and then I have been binge eating for the past year and have gained 60 some odd pounds and I'm at the heaviest I have ever been. I recently tried AGAIN to lose weight and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. SO, I've done some research and this is where it has landed me. I'm very excited and hopeful. My doctor told me it was a great idea and is willing to help me out any way she can. My insurance covers 90% and I have my first visit with the doctor I have chosen on Monday, August 17. Here's hoping to a nice, bright, healthy, and skinny adventure and future!
