Hi there, To answer your question directly, YES. My Dr. has told me an expected weight loss. According to him, and he's done the most VSGs in GA and is at a Bariatric Center of Excellence etc..., 2 wks after surgery, I'll be down 15 lbs. 6 weeks after surgery, I'll be down 30 lbs. 6 months after surgery, I'll be down 75 lbs. and then the rest will be how well I'm helping myself along with diet and exercise in addition to the sleeve restriction. I want to lose 100 lbs, so I'm thrilled with his estimations. He says I will look GREAT in my clothes, and should wait 2 years before considering tummy tuck to give my skin as much chance to snap back as possible.
