I have not yet been banded and don't know what ''short term'' goals I will set for myself but my main goal is to be healthy and see my little girl grow up and be able to be there to guide her through the good and bad.

I had thought about that as well but I was told that even though I am doing a 6 month program that if I don't lose any weight its ok because like the instructor said if it were just that easy I would not be there. Losing is not the hard part it is keeping it off and that is why I am looking for help. Good luck with your ins. -
I called my Insurance company and asked them what the requirments were I have Highmark Blueshield. They were able to e-mail the requirments to me.

My goal is to have more energy and be able to keep up with my beautifull 6yr. old daughter and be able to play and do things with her. And also to just be healthy overall and maybe someday wear a size 34 jean.:confused:

WOW that is amazing congrats on the success it is people like you that give me hope. I am so ready to get started. I go to a seminar on Mon. so I have a ways to go but am ready for the long haul.

I am currently perscribed Celebrex for arthritis which is a nsaid does anyone think I will have trouble with that as my knees hate me and make me hate them with out my Celebrex -

Hello all I have been reading alot around here and just decided to join I just have been reading to get informed. I am going to a seminar on the 24th and am ready to get the process started. I want to get my weight under control and nothing else has worked (for any length of time) I want to be able to do more and be around longer for my daughter. Sorry for the rambling.
