Hello everybody Please let me introduce myself. I am Mike and I am very excited about the prospect of being banded in my lifelong Quest to lose weight. I am committed to the effort and I view the band as the missing piece of my personal puzzle. I am enjoying reading all of your posts, and they have provided me with a lot of great information. SO many nice people, like yourself, have given me so much positive feedback, and I know how important support is in this journey. We seem to be at the same milepost in this adventure, so it will be interesting to keep in touch and compare thoughts and feelings as we progress.

I am feeling really good about this decision, and I am looking forward to getting my date and ultimately beginning my journey. I love your description as "Future Former Fatty", and I think of myself in the same respect. Like you, I know I have it in me to get leaner and healthier, and I share your optimism. Hey, Monkey! My Surgeon is a rally cool guy, Dr Fontana and Norfolk Sentara. I haven't got a date yet...still working on all of the prereqs, but I am making great progress on my checklist. I should have it completed this Thursday. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the feedback!
