My pre-op diet was 1 day of clear liquids. My instructions are liquids day 1-3 post-op and then week 1 - 2 soft food, so I do not know why you had such a more restricted diet than mine. I wonder which is more commonly practiced. Bearbandit, it sounds and looks like I am your before picture right now. At what point did you start using the lotion?

Hello! I got banded 7 days ago and I am down from 292 to 272 - 20 pounds in 7 days. I am following a simple food plan right now... typically protien shake blended with Fiber Bran Cereal in the morning, bean Soup for lunch and egg salad with light mayo for dinner...and Water or decaf tea all day. So I am not starving myself, but definitely a drastic reduction from the pre-surgery days. Is a kind of drop (20 lbs in one week after surgery) unheard of?
