Port moved and tummy tuck
CherieCude replied to colleenjune's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
This won't help you much from South Florida, but Dr. Rincon in San Antonio, TX, says he works with a plastic surgeon to do tummy tucks on his weight loss patients to prevent problems with the port. I didn't ask for more info on the guy since I was a long way from ready. Good luck. Chérie -
Will Changing Jobs Sacrifice My Weight Loss?
CherieCude replied to JulieNYC's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Do you have to loose your friends at your current job just because you take a career advancing position elsewhere? Seems like if they are really your family now they would still be then. I'm sure you'll be guided to the right choice. Good luck. -
Need a fill doctor in Austin or San Antonio Texas
CherieCude replied to Arlynne's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Is SW Bariatrics the same place Dr. Rincon practices? I called San Antonio Weight Loss Center yesterday, and got voice mail with Dr. Rincon himself leaving the message. However no one ever called me back. If this is the place that won't take people who had surgery in Mexico, maybe that's why they never called me back. -
Need a fill doctor in Austin or San Antonio Texas

Hi Jewels: I live in Fredericksburg. I was banded by Dr. dela Garza in Monterrey on July 21. I was just thinking of going back next week for my first fill. They are free, but the airline ticket is $386. Does it take long to get in to Dr. Rincon? You've had a fill with him already? I'm afraid to try it without fluro. I'm going to call tomorrow. I'm so glad to get this information. Chérie -
I have been banded 4 weeks tomorrow, and ate my first solid food last night. All this talk of PB has me scared and considering staying on protien drinks for the duration. Does everyone have this?

I'm two weeks out and have lost 15 pounds, but I don't have enough energy to walk to the car to go to work. I expected to bounce back sooner. Has anyone else experienced this? How soon will it pass?
