I was successfully banded on 9/30/09 by Dr. Lopez-Corvala at Hospital Angeles in Tijuana. The process went smoothly from start to finish and I've had no problems post-surgery. The total cost of the surgery and hospitalization was $6500. The facility was modern and clean, and the surgical staff were all knowledgeable and attentive. -
Am I sposed to be so hungry not even a week out?

I'm one week post-op and have been starving since I left the recovery room! I've tried thin cream soup, yogurt, pudding, protein shakes. Even when I can't eat anymore, I still feel the pang of hunger. I'm miserable! -
Hi! I'm scheduled to be banded 9/30 by Dr. Corvala at Hospital Angeles in Tijuana. I'm reading up about the procedure and pre- and post-op diets, as well as living with the band long term. As my surgery date gets closer I find I'm getting more nervous as I'll be traveling alone. For those of you who were banded in Mexico, I would appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!
