Hi my name is Sabrina, I am 26 years old and am extremely over weight. I gained alot of weight when i was pregnant with my twin boys (now 5 yrs). After giving birth i tried everything to lose the weight but just couldn't do it. I am a stress eater so when i would lose weight and gain double back i would get upset and eat. I know that is not a good thing but i couldn't help it. I was always embarrassed to go out with friends to eat or shopping or even to clubs. I would sit back and watch my friends have fun dancing but i never went out onto the dance floor because i thought that people would look at me and talk about me and my weight. I remember leaving a club one night and there was a group of guys standing outside and they yelled at me saying where are u going fatty? I bet to McDonald's to eat a burger huh. Man that hurt. My husband has been a big supporter in my life. I have put him through alot over the years because of my weight. But I finally decided to get the Lap-Band done. No turning back now. I am doing this for him and my kids but most of all for myself. I am ready to be healthy and go to a restaurant with my husband and not worry about what the skinny girls are saying about me. I want to take control of my life and be there for my kids. Be able to take my boys to the playground and actually play with them instead of sitting on the bench watching them. I have to start living! My surgery date is Sep. 11, 2009. That is the day i get to re-start my life!
