I have been extremely overweight my whole adult life.  I have 3 children with whom I cannot fully share life's experienes due to my size.  It took me 5 years of research and prayer to finally have this surgery.  I was nervous but ready to get on with the process by the time my surgery happened on 7/29/09.  I am one week out at this point and struggling to even get water down.  Although I am without energy and feeling sick now, I know things will turn around and I will get on with my journey!
