Malbor

I have struggled with my weight all of my adult life and most of my childhood.  I finally reached a point where I felt awful and old and fat!  Then I saw a picture of myself....and thought that isn't me!  I researched bariatric surgery for the past four years and finally said I have had enough and I have to do something now.  My first meeting with my surgeon was amazing....for years doctors had said things like, "well, you could lose a few pounds" or when I went to the ER with chest pains they said, "you don't have any risk factors..." ARE you kidding me? I am 125 pounds over weight with asthma, high blood pressure, borderline diabetes, and high cholesterol....okay.  Dr. Faulkenberry was genuine and supportive and pointed out to me that I was there "before my wheels fell off" I don't want to be too sick for surgery.  My children are at risk because of me.  I have to change my life for them and my husband and myself. My surgery date hasn't been set yet, but should be this month.
