I am 54 years old and have been battling weight issues all my life.  I have finally decided to take the last step.  I hope my insurance covers the surgery.  I will try to keep posted on this site, more for my own journaling thought more than anything.  I wish all who view this the best of luck!October 18,2009Tomorrow I have a doctor's appt.  Hopefully a date for my surgery will be set.  I have completed all the steps necessary that were required of me. Frankly, this is all I can think of right now.  It's on my mind constantly...I wish all who read this peace... I have a date for surgery!  November 9, 2009.  My paper work was submitted and I believe a few days later, I got an approval letter.  I am so anxious and excited.  I believe I will do well.  Say a prayer for me, please!
