    Mushy Suggestions?

    hi everyone! great to read all of your recipies. i'm one week away from starting the mushy diet and i can't wait. in the meantime have any of you tried anything really spicy? i have a real urge for a delicious spicy Thai curry soup (broth) but don't know if it is going to cause a problem. any suggestions? Hi Flowerchild, i too had my lapband recently (July 29) and was struggling. felt hungry most of the time. after i spoke to my dietician she suggested that i add one more "meal" to the day so now i have the following and it helps me heaps! breakfast, half cup V8 fruit juice; morning tea, half cup liquid custard or yoghurt; lunch, full cup soup; afternoon tea, half cup shake; dinner, full cup soup; after dinner snack, half cup low fat sorbet or gelato. in between these drink plenty of water! i will start the mushy diet in one week and i have to say i am really looking forward to that! hope this is some help to get you through a couple of days at least. don't give up and don't give in. sooo xx:smile:

    Confused

    hi everyone, i had lap band surgery July 29 2009. i am very happy with the results so far (lost 7kg already!!) the diet was a little difficult at first but am now on top of it. my advice to Neesha is that you owe it to yourself to make an informed decision, that is why we go to the people who specialise in whatever our needs are at the time. it does seem rather pointless to go to a doctor/psych/dietician etc and then take no notice of what they are advising. by all means keep asking questions, we all do that, but listen to the people who know. sooo xx:smile:
