Hi !!! Keith and I were talking about you a few days ago... wondering how things are going and all.. Keith is doing amazing... down 110 pounds so far!!! Its crazy!!! As for myself, I decided to go ahead with the surgery as well... I am getting banded on July 14 !!! Give us an update when you get a chance!!

Thanks!! :thumbup: I am not scared of the surgery either. I've seen my boyfriend go through it and its nothing to be scared about. The Boost is freaking me out a little and I hope goes by fast! Congrats on the 16 pounds!!! .. and hopefully there will be lots more to come!!

Starting Boost in 6 days !! It ain't going to be easy but then again I can't wait ! Surgery is July 14 !!! Bf got banded in August 2009 and has already lost 110 lbs! Can't wait for it to FINALLY be my turn !

I don't think Keith has any regrets either. I asked him when he woke up from the anesthesia and later on last night and he seemed happy about getting the surgery, no regrets whatsoever. I am happy that he feels that way. It is going to make the transition easier for him and for our family. I just got off the phone with him, he is tired. He had a semi-private room just in front of the nurse station and he said they were loud all night. He got no sleep at all. I have the feeling he will be sleeping quite a bit when he gets home to peace and quiet. But besides being tired he is feeling well. He has not taken any pain medications yet. He says that the pain isn't bad enough to take anything. (Maybe he is just being stubborn too.. ha!ha!). Well with that being said, I'm going to head down to the hospital and wait with him for Dr. Savoie to make his rounds. I am pretty sure Keith will be posting on here later on today!!!

Hi Pierrette! Just wanted to let you know that Keith underwent his Lap Band surgery this morning. Everything went perfectly and he is now resting at the hospital. He will be back home tomorrow. He is in good spirits and recovering quite well ! He most likely will keep you updated this week on here. If you ever feel like coming over for coffee and sharing your experiences with Keith, you are more than welcome too.. it's not like it's far... we live in the same subdivision! ha!ha!
